The feeding or dabbling in this motion duck decoy is so realistic that birds will not be able to decipher The Flashback 2 from other live-feeding ducks. The flash of the black and white patches on the hind end of a drake pintail as it is feeding gives off a strobe effect that can be seen by waterfowl from a long distance. The Flashback 2 imitates this "flash" perfectly. The ripples that these motion decoys create are very realistic and visible from a great distance.
The Flashback 2 requires at least 9 inches of water depth for its full motion. However, it can be used in surface-feeding mode with as little as 4 inches of water depth. No jerk strings are required and it works great in all hunting conditions.
The Flashback 2 is built tough to operate and survive in even the harshest conditions. You can treat and transport it like any other decoy. All of the plastic parts are made from durable ABS plastic and are produced in the color pattern of a drake pintail.

Every Flashback sold now comes with a PowerAnchor. They weigh 14 oz, are just slightly larger than a deck of cards and have a fixture that allows for additional weight to be attached if needed. They will power a Flashback for 9-12 hours depending upon temperatures and fully charge in 6 hours. The PowerAnchor will work with any version of the Flashback. This patent pending power source has eliminated fragile wires, fighting dry boxes with cold hands and wet battery issues. We took a 12 Volt lithium battery and "Americanized" it in Denver CO by encapsulated it in an impervious material allowing it to be used like a traditional decoy weight at the bottom of the wetland you are hunting.
